Ms. Abilities At Large 2014-2015 Passed Away
Autumn Massie, Ms. Abilities At Large 2014-2015, passed away on August 23, 2014. She was a light and blessing to the world of service dogs and individuals who happened to have disabilities. She trained service dogs, helped individuals who had disabilities find their life accomplishments, and blessed many with her presence. When Ms. Abilities America National Director was approached by Autumn to become a titleholder in the pageant, Elizabeth Reeve was so ecstatic and amazed that Autumn would consider even being in the pageant that the only words that came out was Yippppeee! Autumn was given the first ever title of Ms. Abilities At Large, and came to Nationals on June 14, 2014. Autumn's Platform was about service dogs, and her passion rang through out the building. However, soon this would come to a closer too early when on August 24, 2014, our pageant was informed that Autumn had passed away on the night before. Autumn was only 29 years old. She will be greatly missed.
